791Had a blast at the USA's. Really enjoyed meeting more of our ON/ABB atheletes and getting to see others again. Definately wasn't my best show. I was right on track and then everything that could have went wrong did. I got 2 hours sleep during my 1st 3 days there. My room had some unwelcomed creatures so I had to change rooms between prejudging and the finals so no rest during the day either. Didn't loose all my water weight and when I got my first tan, I was still adjusting from Alaskas 53 degrees to Vegas 110 degrees, made the mistake of walking outside and I turned green, lol. Paid to have my hair done and it did not hold. Didn't peak until after the show and the list goes on. 30 ladies in my class and I placed 16 along with all the others after 15. However when I stood with the other women in my class I was honored because they all looked amazing.

I gave it my all and just didn't get to where I needed to be. To many road blocks this go around. I went to the doctor after I got back and had my shoulder xrayed and a mri and I do have a tear. The last few weeks preparing for the show was mainly cardio, legs and light upper body. Being competitive I was just to close to not do the show. My appointment with the orthopedic surgeon is on the 14th to see what my options are.

This weekend I cleaned house, finished unpacking, did laundry, got into chocolate, had a burger, and some pizza, ate some marshmellows and pop tarts. In the morning I will be back to eatting clean and cardio.

Not sure what show I'll do next but I will keep you posted.

Wow, sorry about all the things that went wrong this go around, but use this as motivation! Let your body heal, enjoy your cheat meals, rest a bit, and then get 101% for the next show!

It was great meeting you and doesn't it always seem when one thing goes wrong it just snowballs after that! Just competing and following through shows determination. Look forward to seeing you again. Take Care

I hope your exam goes well Sheila. Sorry to hear that Murphy's law kicked in at the show. I image you learned a lot from it happening, but that's not why we compete. :)

All I can do is laugh. This is my sport and I love it!! I have been taking time off to heal. I want to make a great come back in the near future, so I know what I gotta do.
