6 weeks and trucking

by: V Delcampo - June 13th, 2008
78Ok, I just finished breakfast, 7 egg whites and 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Its 7:20 my wife is asleep I have been up since 5:45. I have done 40 minutes of cardio already and I need to get ready for work. I have to leave at 9:15 am and work till 9:00 pm. I have to take a shower still and pack my meals for the day. At some point I will workout when I get a break at work I am not sure exactly when but I will find or make time.
I am 180lbs now and I like the way I look. It looks to me like I am coming in nicely. I expect to be even better then at the nationals last november. I just can't wait! The good thing is I am thirty now and as I get older the time seems to keep going faster so these diets get easier every year. The weeks just seem to fly by with just six weeks to go it won't be long at all be for it is all over. I will be on stage. I am not going to this contest to place I am going to win that is my only goal. There are only two options for me, win or lose. I have placed everywhere but first. I am going to change that. I am working my tail off in the gym and my dieting has been machine like. I don't want to let myself down or any of my friends here at ripped academy, ABB/ON, or George Farah all of whom I will be representing. I like this type of pressure, this is what it takes for me to get in the best shape of my life each and every year. I thrive on it. Sometimes I wonder if I train to compete or do I compete to train, I just don't know anymore. When it comes to winning, what drives you doesn't matter as much as how driven you are. And winning is exactly what I plan to do.
