81Things are coming together now. I'm still very tired and hunger isn't driving me insane. I'm starving between meals, but compared to last year, I'm doing better. I'm also getting stronger at this point. I keep challenging myself from last weeks weights and they are still climbing despite the drop in calories. I'm beyond excited about that.

There were only minor changes this week. I now have:
1 High day
2 Med/Low days
4 Low day (2 days no added carbs)

Cardio is 40min twice a day one of them HIIT on the treadmill

Although I've never been a HMB fan and from what I've read it doesn't really work that great, I did add it in during this prep. It may be helping more then I thought it would. I have been getting stronger and tightening up even when my weight isn't dropping. Obviously I'm using the Optimum Nutrition version that is one gram 3 times a day.

Nice to see that you are doing a great jib in your preparation, HMB is expencive since you need to take like 10 grs or more to see real results... :(

Thanks Guy.

John,
That's another reason I didn't use HMB in the past was the price. I'm surprised it's playing an important roll in this prep.

Good Luck in your show John!

Joe,

Great work, I also had great results with pre and post workout HMB. 2-4g pre and 2-4 g post, and some throughout the day.

Hey Joe, thats tru about HMB, but why don´t you try Leucine... I think using like 12grs of Leucine during the last week of contest preparation must be a great strategy to up a little bit size!!! what do you think, because Leucine is not going to make you retain water...
Keep the good work going man!

Leucine is a great product and works wornders for people, but I'd have to add it into my protein amounts because it has calories.

BA and HMB don't to my knowledge. If they do, I'm all ears

Thanks for stopping in and the kind words Brad! I'm glad I'm not standing next to you!
