4 weeks out from Collegiate Nationals

by: DannyStevens - June 24th, 2008
87I'm a little less than 4 weeks out now from Collegiate Nationals. My last weigh in put me at 197 LBS, 26 LBS. down from my highest point of 223. I'm finally starting to see the changes after 8 weeks of strict dieting. I've developing good muscle separation as well as increased vascularity everyday. My abs are still lagging behind a little but over the next few weeks, I should be able to shred the excess fat and water out.

Diet has changed entirely, with many of my carbs now gone. My breakdown today was 65% Protein, 15% Carbs and 18% Fat. Cardio has also been increased to 5 - 80 minute sessions a week. They are broken up each day was a HIIT session in there as well. Overall, I'm feeling pretty good. I'm not overwhelmed with hunger like I have been before on my diets just have my moments of feeling run down. Looking back 4 weeks ago, I was 11 lbs. heavier. Slight and steady changes were made since then and now the real changes have come into play with some secrets even up my sleeve :) I'm super excited to see where my form will be in another 4 weeks!!!

Danny,

Just keep pushing along with your diet and cardio...Dont be afraid to change things up if needed toward the end to get ripped...Conditioning always wins out (except at the Mr.O...LOL) Anyway, best of luck

Danny,

I saw you on the 24th of May and then just this past weekend at Jr. Nats. You have made great strides and are now molding and shaping your physique. Keep locked in, I know the diet is not fun but you are doing a fantastic job!

Thanks for the support everyone. It means a lot to have all your backing.

Sean- I'm glad to hear that. The way I see it, even though dieting is not fun, if it was easy, everyone in the world would do it. Right now, it's about giving my 100% all and nothing else.

Thanks guys!
