81I started my diet this week for the Jr. USAs in May. I was really looking forward to it because I'm getting restless and feel like a whale. Over the weekend I weighed in at 230lbs. I stated in earlier blogs that I was eating all high days with cheat meals to prep for the diet. At first eating all the cheat meals was great, but by the second week, I started loosing my appetite. Most days I would end up eating 5 meals a day at best. Eating all that processed, high fat food made me feel awful.

Now the diet has started and of course you miss the off-season eating right off. Monday was a high day. I had a lot of food, but I was still hungry without all the fat in my diet. Today (Tuesday) is a medium carb day and I'm starving! LOL

Here's the break down. It's not very specific, because that's what I pay for.

I have 2 high carb days, 3 medium carb days, 2 low carb days each week.

High Carb days are 600g of carbs, 250g protein, NO ADDED FAT

Medium Carb days are 200g of carbs, 300 protein, 20g added fat

Low Carb days <100g of carbs, 400g of protein, 60g added fat

20min of cardio 4 days a week in the morning or post workout.

I felt like a whale during Christmas too Joe LOL. WOW 600g of carbs I would pass out and become a whale with my IBS eating all those carbs ROFL.

When I was on Udo's oil I felt great with the added Borage oil but at $30 for a month's supply I had to ditch it.

You will do great at the Jr. USA's WOOHOO GO Joe GO GO GO!

Jer,
I'm a bit softer then I want to be so probably no pics for now. LOL Give me a few weeks. :)

Ben,
I have options with amounts and meal times. I stick with the basics for the most part and use the carbs for when I need them.

Giz,

On the super high carb days where I go as high as 1000g of carbs all the fiber really tears up my insides. LOL This year I'll use more things like white rice on those days to be easier on my digestive system.

ROFL, shoot 200g of carbs and the fiber that comes with it tears me up, I can not imagine what 1000g would do to my gut would it go POOF? LOL.

I will have try the white rice some time. :)

Keep up the awesome work Joe.
