12 weeks out NPC Nationals

by: Brad Davis - September 1st, 2008
73Woke this morning and weighed in at 230 lbs, so thats a 4 lb drop this week. George dropped some things out of the diet and changed some things up to lower cals a bit more, and they worked quite well. Im still strong in the gym as i hit 315 for 14 reps on incline this past week. My body is starting to tighten up a lil more especially my legs, I have noticed that my legs are coming in a tad quicker this year, which is a huge plus for me. Cardio is still the same at this point and fairly easy thus far, although sometimes when i get home from work in the evenings im starting to dred evening cardio, but skipping cardio has never made champions, as once you start allowing yourself to skip things and cheat on meals you might as well stick a fork in you cause your done! Not me, i got a goal in mind this year and i want to really shock some people this year, and show everyone that has vitiligo out there that you can live a normal and happy life with this skin disease.

When I start dreading cardio I just tell myself that someone may be working harder than me and it gets me motivated again. Also when I listen to upbeat music it seems to go by faster. Best of luck!
