811 Week out wt 201lbs this morning

Today is the last high carb day will after the show. It's a normal high carb day, not the mega high day.

I have 2 more days of 2 hours of cardio. I will have my last leg session tomorrow (Sunday) and it will be a light, higher rep day. Some people don't train legs the week of the show, but last year Justin had me do it, and it didn't hurt me. My goal is to get a little blood going in my legs, some nutrient exchange, as well as burning down glycogen levels.

This past week was a little rough. The diet was challenging, but not to painful. It was more of my personal life that was a mess. I have a lot going on, at not the right time. Life seems to do that and I think I handled it well. Yesterday (Friday) was my hardest day with the diet/cardio/training. I was starving all day, to the point of insanity. During my second hour of cardio I got so dizzy I stumbled twice and really almost fell. I'm thankful for railings ;) After the training stuff was over I was trying to kill time by reading, playing GTA4 on PS3, and watching TV but I couldn't focus on anything. I was nauseous and dizzy all night.

Now I'm prepping my body for this week. Sodium and water are at astronomical levels. Like I've mentioned before...I'm like Sponge Bob when it comes to holding water so I'll be bloated for the next couple days.

I did take pics yesterday and I'm happy with my conditioning at this point. Did I achieve my goal for conditioning this year...no, but I did get to an acceptable level that Justin is happy with and a level I can feel confident that I will be competitive on stage with, absolutely. (side note: I wanted to be striated 2 weeks out...Justin never said anything about that so it's my issue alone. He's done great with me.)

I will most likely be in the Light Heavy class unless something crazy happens to me. I'm not concerned with what class I'm competing in, I just want to be the best I can be and the rest will work itself out.

I do have one more announcement and it's the one thing that did go right this week. I officially signed for another year with ON/ABB on Tuesday. I'm extremely excited and honored to be apart of the company for another year. They have been awesome to me and I can't say enough about how well I've been treated. It's nice to represent a company that I believe in their products as well as the moral direction of the company.

I will check in later this week with how things are progressing.
